Isaac Andrew is a performer, educator and conductor. He holds music education and performance degrees from Azusa Pacific University and Cal State Long Beach. Isaac teaches cello for AYO and tuba and euphonium at Oregon State University and Linn Benton Community College and is a founding member of Chintimini Brass. He currently performs and teaches low brass, electric bass, cello and ukulele in groups from praise bands to swing bands, symphony orchestras to acoustic trios. He enjoys sharing the joys of music with others, training for triathlons and video games!
Delaney joined us in 2023 and will be teaching orchestra at North Albany Elementary, where she teaches general music. Raised in a musical family, Delaney is an experienced player and private teacher. She studied music and violin at Southern Virginia University and Portland State University and has her undergraduate and Master's degrees in music education. She has been teaching violin privately for 14 years and is excited to continue her learning by teaching Orchestra with AYO at North Albany Elementary.
Mrs. Ritchey loves teaching. She has a bachelor and graduate degrees in music education and has been teaching music from Pre-k to college since 1997. She has been teaching in Albany since 1999 and has been teaching strings with AYO for 8 years. She loves working with the students at South Shore and loves writing arrangements for her level 2 classes. In her spare time, Mrs. Ritchey loves to run, swim, hike and have adventures with her family. Mrs. Ritchey loves teaching music because she loves it when students make connections and loves seeing them grow confident through their hard work and dedication.
Tyger joined as an instructor in Fall of 2024.
Madison Peters is from Flagstaff, Arizona and moved to Albany in July 2024. She has been playing music since she was 4 years old, starting on the violin and then learning anything with strings on it. She has been teaching private lessons and ensembles for almost 10 years and finds particular joy in helping students discover their love of music. With over seven years of experience in the corporate finance industry, she has joined our team as a co-Executive Director, focusing on the organization’s finances and long-term goals. When not working or playing music, Madison enjoys reading and exploring the outdoors with her partner.
